David J. Taylor, 76, of Tropical Lake Drive, Kissimmee, died Nov. 24. Born in Rayville, La., he moved to the area from Lake Charles, La., in 1962. He was a retired technical sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, a World War II and Korean war veteran, a member of the Retired Enlisted Association and was past president of the Kissimmee Boat-a-Cade. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Taylor; sons, David A. Taylor, both of Kissimmee, Joseph Lucas, DeMotte, Ind., daughters, Deborah Hillis, Tampa, Kathryn Dunham, Kissimmee; sister, Nobie Sparks, Pensacola; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held Nov. 27 at the chapel of Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy R. Rigsby of Easterm Avenue Baptist Church, St. Cloud, officiating. Burial was in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Full military honors were courtesy of Eglin Air Force Base Honor Guard. Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of local arrangements.
