Evelyn Newsom was the daughter of Hartwell & Rebecca Maynard Newsom. She married Jerry Kirk and had the following children: Eula Kirk 1902-1937; Moses Kirk 1909-1934;William Neal Kirk 1922–1974. She & John William Moore had the following child:Pearl Kirk 1905-1985 (My Grandmother!)Evelyn Kirk remarried before her death but information about that spouse is unknown.
