GEORGE A. VOS PASSES AWAY IN MINNEAPOLIS

George A. Vos, 77, died in Minneapolis last week. He was born April 23, 1888 in Krain Township.

His wife, the former Mathilda Hilt (a former teacher here many years ago) preceded him in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Harriot) Schwinghammer of Albany; sons, Herbert Vos, Saint Cloud; George B. Vos, Golden Valley, LeRoy Vos, Saint Paul; and 10 grandchildren.

A brother, Thomas Vos, Holdingford; and two sisters, Mrs. Katie Meyer, Belle Plaine and Mrs. Lena Gruidl, Minneapolis also survive.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 10 a. m. from Saint Mary’s Church in Holdingford, with Father Paul Kunkle, officiating.

Brenny Funeral Directors had charge of the arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers were Lawrence and Math Muyres, John R. Schmidt, Walter Eiden, William Peleske and Roman A. Vos.

Pallbearers were all nephews – Norbert and Ralph Vos, Elmer and John Ebnet, Robert Ehrlichman, Holdingford, and Walter Meyer of Belle Plaine, Minnesota
