Adams, Mrs. Paul (Frances) - age 62, of 254 Milburn st., Morristown, passed away Friday evening at her home. Native of Knoxville. Preceded in death by: husband, Paul Adams; brother, William Fox. Was awarded in 1991 Teacher of the Year at Alpha Baptist Church for 30 years of faithful service with the Sunday School Dept. Survivors: sons, David Paul Adams, Wesley Andrew Adams, Gregory Hiram Adams, all of Morristown, Dean Randall Adams, Knoxville; daughter, Julia Victoria (Vickie) Gregg, Morristown; brothers, Bob Fox, J.W. Fox Jr., both of Knoxville; sisters, Celia Mae Atchley, Thelma Joiner, Gladys Cruze, Ellen Roberts, all of Knoxville; granchildren, Kelley Daw Adams, Andrea Nicole Adams, Luke Andrew Adams, Jessica Lynn Adams, Wendi Rena Gregg, Monika Gail Gregg, Paula Lynette Gregg; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2:45 p.m. Monday, Alpha Baptist Church, Morristown, Revs. Clay and Chuck Frazier officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Interment Hamblen Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alpha Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Morristown.
