ROSETTA (TOOLY) DALTON

Rosetta (Tooly) Dalton, Martinsville, Va., passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Hospice of Rockingham County in Reidsville N.C.

She was the widow of Charles Henry Dalton, Sr. Rosetta was born in Henry County, Va., on April 3, 1939, a daughter of the late Roberta (Hairston) and late Tom Willie Turner, Sr.

She attended Henry County Public Schools. Rosetta worked as a presser at Moorefield Cleaners until her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Holiness Church, Martinsville.

She is survived by: sister, Lucille Turner of Martinsville, Va.; and brother, Herbert Hoover Turner of Martinsville, Va.

She was preceded in death by: one infant son, Donnell Turner; two sisters, Louise Turner Wingfield and Tisha Mae Turner; brothers, Rooservelt, Jessie, Otis, John Henry, Joe Harry and Tom Willie Turner, Jr.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Stanfield-Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Rorer J. Morrison officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Stanfield-Miller Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her niece, Linda and Lester Taylor, 74 Wren Ct. (Piedmont Estates) Martinsville.
