SHREVEPORT, LA. – Services for Kenneth Atkinson, 74, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 1991 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Fred Schwendimann. Private graveside services will be held in Forest Park West Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Tuesday until service time.
Mr. Atkinson died Friday, July 19, 1991 in Shreveport, Louisiana after a brief illness. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Shreveport, La. since 1945. He was employed by Monroe Calculating Machine Co. before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Atkinson, of Shreveport, La.; a step-daughter, Louise Little James and husband, B. Aubrey James, of Canyon Lake, Texas; granddaughter, Janet Haby and husband, William, of San Antonio, Texas; grandson, Stephen A. James and wife, Shereda; great grandchildren, Stephan, Shanan and Stewart James, all of Barrington, IL; sister, Opal Spaulding of Iowa.
The family suggests memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
