CAPTAIN SCHUCHARDT RITES ARE THURSDAY

Services for Captain Albert Schuchardt, retired Trenton fire captain, who died last night at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jr., 348 Cleveland Avenue, with whom he resided, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Henry home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery under direction of Poulson & Van Hise.

Captain Schuchardt, who would have been 82 years old Thursday, was a foreman of the Old Liberty Hose Company, and entered the paid department in April 1892. He retired January 1, 1921, as captain of Engine Company No. 4, after 28 years in the regular department. He was a native of Philadelphia.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Jesse Blivens, of Jamaica, L. I.; six sons, Frank, Edward, Charles, Stephen, Russell and Leon Schuchardt; three stepsons, George, Henry and August Dettman; a brother, George, of Media, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Kraus, of Philadelphia; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Mary Rein, died 10 years ago when they made their home on Sherman Avenue.

Organizations in which Captain Schuchardt held membership included Washington Camp No. 17, Patriotic Order Sons of America, and Trenton Lodge No. 60, Knights of Pythias.
