Verline Long, 81, of Port Arthur died June 9, 2001, at Doctors Hospital in Groves.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a graveside service at 4 p.m. Tuesday Creel Memorial Gardens in Reeves, La. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A native of Many, La., she lived in Port Arthur 60 years and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Hardy Long of Port Arthur; sons, Frank B. Long of Groves, Ronald Jerry Long, Robert D. Long and Kenneth D. Long, all of Brookeland, and Royce W. Long of California; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
