Ogden – Verda McGuire, 99, passed away January 17, 2014 in Ogden, UT. She was born January 1, 1915 in Liberty, Idaho to Alma and Laura Poulsen. She married Michael McGuire in the Logan LDS Temple.
She is survived by three children, Carl (Joann) McGuire, Farr West, UT, Carol (Gaylon) Symes, Ogden, Utah, Robert (Susan) McGuire, Greybull, WY; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister; two brothers and one son, Don.
Celebration of Verda's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary on Tuesday, January 21st from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
