Served from Hampshire County, MA. Private, Captain Simeon Clap’s company, Colonel David Well’s regiment. Enlisted 10 May 1777 for 2 months; discharged 10 July 1777. Served for 2 months, 9 days. Marched on an expedition to Ticonderoga. Private, Captain Jonathan Wales’ company, Colonel Dickinson’s Hampshire County regiment. Enlisted 17 August 1777; service for 8 days. Marched to East Hoosac on an alarm, and then to Pittsfield where the company took charge of and guarded Hessian prisoners to Springfield by order of Brigadier General Fellows. Private in Captain Jonathan Wale’s company, Colonel Ezra May’s regiment. Enlisted 22 Sep 1777; discharged 15 Oct 1777. Service of 28 days. Marched to Stillwater and Saratoga.
