Rose Anna Schumacher, 82, Napoleon, died Feb. 11, 1999, in the Strasburg nursing home.
Rose Anna was born Sept. 6, 1916, near Strasburg, the daughter of Anton and Barbara (Senger) Rohrich. She grew up on the family farm and received her elementary education in rural Emmons County, and later Linton Public Schools. Rose continued to live and work on the family farm until her marriage to Paul Schumacher, Dec. 26, 1939, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, rural Hague.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents; and one brother, John Rohrich.
