Linton, N.D. -- Aloys Lewis Rohrich, 77, of Linton died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at the Linton Hospital.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Linton. The Rev. Bruce Krebs will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Myers Funeral Home in Linton in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, all at the funeral home. There will also be visitation for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
Aloys Lewis Rohrich was born Jan. 22, 1923, to Anton and Barbara (Senger) Rohrich on a farm near Strasburg, N.D. He attended a rural school. He worked in Everett, Wash., as a boiler maker. After he returned to the Dakotas, he worked on the Garrison Dam. He also farmed east of Strasburg and did custom combining. In 1964, he moved into Linton. The last three years he spent his winters in the Strasburg Care Center and became a permanent resident in 1998.
He was a former member of the Linton Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include two half-brothers, Joe Kelsch and Alvin Kelsch, both of Linton; two stepbrothers, Tony Kelsch and Gregory Kelsch, both of Linton; one sister, Magdalena Fischer of Linton; one half sister, Loretta Burgad of Linton; and one stepsister, Alice Eberle of Eugene, Ore.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Casketbearers will be LeRoy Fischer, Gregory Kelsch Jr., Bob Hammond, Eugene Nagel, Paul Fischer and Richard Deis.
