OBITUARY from Altoona Tribune October 2, 1936 page 20 - CHARLES L. ARBLE - Charles L. Arble of 125 East Walnut avenue died at 7 o’clock last night at the Altoona hospital after an extended illness caused by a disease of the liver. He was born in this city January 31, 1896, a son of George H. and Magdalene (Ager) Arble. Surviving are his father and these brothers and sisters, William H., Robert G., and Mrs. Mary Strohmeyer, of this city and Mrs. Ruth Moran of New Kensington, Pa. Mr. Arble was a veteran of the World war having served 23 months with the 305th Engineers of the A. E. F. He was formerly a city fireman and was a member of the V. F. W. The body may be viewed at Stevens mortuary. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
