OBITUARY from Altoona Mirror January 14, 1964 page 22 - MRS. MARY C. STROHMEYER - A former Altoonan, died in Valley View Home at 4.40 p m. yesterday after an extended illness. She was born June 21, 1887, in Altoona a daughter of George and Magdaline (Eager) Arble and in 1915 in St Mark's Catholic Church married Arthur Strohmeyer, who died in 1951. Surviving are a son, Arthur of Lancaster; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother and sister, William of Washington, DC., and Mrs Earl Moran of Hollidaysburg. She was a member of St Mark’s Catholic L.C.B.A. and the Golden Age Club in Altoona. Friends will be received at the Haller Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, after 4 p.m. tomorrow.
