Mr. McGinnis was a member of First United Methodist Church of Stanley, had retired from J.P. Stevens Textiles in Stanley with over 40 years of service, and was an avid golfer, sports enthusiast and enjoyed gardening.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Wife, Geraldine Stone McGinnis; four sisters, Flora Beatrice McGinnis, Florence Elizabeth Slaton, Genora Lee Abernathy and Mary Ola Walker; five brothers, Murray Edward McGinnis Sr., Roy Graham McGinnis, Cecil Leopole McGinnis, James Wilson McGinnis and Jake Allen McGinnis Sr.
