Fayette County - David H. "Dave" Barbour, 74, Hickory Withe Community resident, native of Olive Branch, MS, retired from Whitco Chemical (formerly Humko Chemical) in Memphis and husband of the late Dorothy "Dot" Howell Barbour, departed this life peacefully January 13, 2014. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with visitation one hour before services. Interment: Fayette County Memorial Park. A member of the Church of Christ and devoted to his family, Mr. Barbour leaves his children, Deborah Pafford of Eads, Dianna Barbour of Arlington, David Barbour of Oakland, Dennis Barbour of Lakeland; one sister, two brothers and three grandchildren.
