Lexington Herald, May 2; Richmond, KY., May 1 (Special)-John Beasley, 78, of Reeves Alley, died at 11:57pm Friday at the Pattie A Clay infirmary from a cerebral Hemorrhage which he suffered at 9am Friday at the Madison County Courthouse. Mr Beasley is survived by five sons, Oscar Beasley, Paint Lick; Bill Beasley, Hamilton, OH; Nick Beasley, stationed somewhere in Florida with the Army; Woodrow Beasley, stationed in New Guinea with the Army; Webster Beasley, Richmond; and four daughters, Mrs Green Sutton (Nellie), Garrard Co; Mrs Mary Barker, Indianapolis, Ind; Mrs Sallie Sutton, London; and Mrs Ray Maupin, OH.
Funeral services and burial will be held at the grave in the Manse Cemetery at Paint Lick but detailed arrangements have not been completed.
