NICK BEASLEY, RETIRED MACHINIST, DIES AT 80
Nick Beasley, 80, of 962 E. Eldorado St., died at 2 p.m. yesterday in St. Mary's Hospital.
Mr. Beasley, a retired machinist for the Wabash Railroad, had been a patient for two weeks.
He was born March 15, 1879 in Richmond, Ky., and lived in Decatur for the past 37 years.
He worked for the Wabash for 32 years.
Mr. Beasley was a son of Nick and Sallie Bowman Beasley.
He was married to Myrtle Reddix, May 21, 1946, in Decatur.
Mr. Beasley leaves his wife.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery.
