Mr. Gossett was employed as head of the mechanical department at Adams garage, and previously had been employed for several years in the Cunico Service Station on north Second street. He was well known and liked among his friends and business associates, and news of his death comes as a shock to his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Angelina Cunico-Gossett, children, Helen, Dorothy, Frank Driver II, and Mary Ann, all of the family home. His mother, Hanna Gossett, a number of brothers and a sister and other relatives all residing in this community. He was born July 20, 1902 at Knox City, Tex, and has lived in Colfax county 14 years.
Carrette-Bullock Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangments. Funeral will be held Saturday at two o'clock from Carrette-Bullock chapel. Rev. B. E. Eltegeorge officiating. It will be an open funeral however as the meningitis was of the non-contagious type.
Interment in Fairmount cemetery.
