Widow of Pioneer Nurseryman Succumbs At Home, Aged 81.
Jane Diana Chase Moore, 81, wife of David M. Moore, pioneer-nurseryman of Ogden, died at ten-thirty a. m today at the family residence, 1319 Washington avenue, following a short illness. Mrs. Moore had spent her entire life in Ogden. She was born here December 3, 1854, a daughter of Wells and Jane McGary Chase. She was married to M.F. Cooper in 1883. He died in Ogden in 1904 and she was married to David M. Moore in-1929. She was active in Sunday school work and other religious duties. She is survived by her husband and the following brothers and sisters: Ernest Chase-, Redlands, Calif; Ezra Chase, James Chase, Mrs. C. L. Leavitt. and Mrs. A. T. Wood, Ogden; Mrs. O. W. Durkin, Grand Junction, Colo; Mrs. J. E.-Morton, Morgan. Funeral services will be held Friday at two o'clock in Lindquist Sons funeral- chapel. Friends may call at the residence Thursday afternoon and evening, and Friday morning until ten o'clock and then at the Lindquist chapel until time of services. Interment will be made in Ogden City cemetery.
