BLACK HAWK — Services for Abraham Applewhite of Black Hawk will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
Mr. Applewhite, 73, died of heart failure Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Oda J. Applewhite; a daughter, Pamela Applewhite-Miller: two brothers, Clarence Applewhite and Percy Applewhite; five sisters, Annie L. Bates. Naomi Kency, Eva Blackmon, Callie King, and Martha Pace: and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at Roberts & Sons Mortuary in Winona.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery near Black Hawk.
