The late Mrs. Polly Joslyn of Homer
VERONA, May 2 -- Mrs Polly Joslyn, who died at Homer on Sunday and whose funeral was held Wednesday at that place, had many relatives in this vicinity and Rome. Her former husband, William E. York, was pastor of the Verona M. E. Church in 1858 and 9. Her father, Rev. Lyman Beach, was pastor of the Court Street M. E. Church, Rome, at the time of its erection. She leaves her present husband, Charles Joslyn of Homer, two sons and one daughter, Rev. William H. York of the Centenary Church, Syracuse, Elsie York and Mrs. Fred Briggs of Homer; two brothers, John Beach of Augusta, Charles Beach of Mansfirled, Pa. She was about 75 years old.
