Dominick Rosato , 64, of 133 1/2 Port Watson St. died Wednesday at Cortland Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Rosato was a life resident of the area. He was a machinist 18 years at Edlund Machine Tool Co. He also worked for the state Environmental Conservation Department and for Ottenschot Construction Co.
Mr. Rosato served with the Army in World War II and received the Purple Heart.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church.
Surviving are a son, Danny of Homer; two daughters, Linda Kline of Cortland and Renee Di'Morer of Marcellus; four brothers, Joseph, Thomas, and Albert, all of Cortland, and James of Syracuse ; eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
