Other film appearances include the musical/Western "The Terror of the Tiny Town" (1938, his first film appearance), Alfred Hitchcock's "Saboteur" (1942), "Superman and the Mole Men" (1951), "The Incredible Shrinking Man" (1957), "Evil Roy Slade" (1972), and "Little Cigars" (1973). Probably his most significant role was in Clint Eastwood's classic film "High Plains Drifter" in which he portrayed 'Mordecai,' a friendly dwarf who was sympathetic to Eastwood's character 'The Stranger.' His final film appearance was a voice role in "Bloody Wednesday." He died at the age of 79.
