Hilda I. (Schneider) King, 93, formerly of Williams Township, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 in the Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Norman L. King. Born on July 14, 1912 in Lower Saucon Township, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Hilda C. (Anderson) Schneider. Hilda was a sewing machine operator for 10 years for the former Casco Sportswear Mfg., Hellertown, until retiring in 1974. Prior employment includes a factory worker for Hanka Pierogies, Hellertown, for six years and a sewing machine operator for R.K. Laros Mfg., Bethlehem, for 10 years. She was a member of St. Lukes Old Williams Lutheran Church, where she was the oldest member of the church, former choir member and member of the Ladies auxiliary.
Survivors: She is survived by a son, Norman R. King and his wife, Lori J., of New Tripoli; daughter, Judith I., wife of Stephen B. Molder, Esq., of Hellertown; brother, George A. Schneider of Myerstown; sister, Susan H., wife of Robert Geiger, of Bethlehem; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons. She was predeceased by brothers, William and Albert, and a sister, Ruth King.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2006, Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, followed by the interment in St. Lukes Old Williams Cemetery, Williams Township.
