67, Dies After
4 Months' Illness
John H. Boatright, 67, of 201 Sherman street, died at 7 p.m. Friday at the Lightner hospital. Mr. Boatright, a carpenter, had been very ill for about four months.
His wife, formerly Ada Gaskins, died about 20 years ago and Mrs. Eva Jones had been his housekeeper for 18 years. He was the son of the late Anderson and Cynthia Boatright.
Survivors include two sister, Mrs. Amanda Thompson of Carrier Mills and Mrs. Lou Travelstead, Route 1, Harrisburg, a brother, Ed Boatright of Enfield; and seven nieces and seven nephews. Two children preceded hi in death.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel at the Harrisburg funeral home. Burial will be at Brushy cemetery, where a short service will be held.
