Rufus Cyrus King, 64, Route 1, Eddyville, died at 11:24am Thursday at Caldwell County Hospital, Princeton, after an illness of four months.
Services will be at 2pm Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. John Johnson officiating and burial in Blue Springs Cemetery, Caldwell County.
Visitation will begin at 4:30pm Saturday at the funeral home.
A native of Lyon County, he was born Dec. 11, 1921, the son of the late John Thomas and Mamie Ladd King. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hurricane Baptist Church in Trigg County.
Survivors include two brothers, William "Bill" of Cerulean and Cecil King of Lyon County; and three sisters, Mrs. Buck (Louise) Gray, Lyon County, Mrs. Paul (Emogene) Hall, Trigg County, and Mrs. James (Lola) Cherry, Alton, Ill.
