CADIZ, Ky. — Cecil Thomas King, 72, Eddyville, died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at Caldwell County Hospital of natural causes.
Services were scheduled for 2:00 this afternoon at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Revs. Wayne Glass, Tim Smith and Mickey Lewis officiating. Burial was to be in Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery.
A native of Lyon County, he was born June 26, 1930, the son of the late John Thomas and Mamie Ladd King. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in Lyon County.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Hall King; a son, Edward Thomas King, Eddyville; a brother, William "Bill" King, Cerulean; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Imogene) Hall, Trigg County, Mrs. James (Lola) Cherry, Alton, Ill., and a grandson.
