Mrs. Julia Bails, 80, died in a hospital here late Tuesday after a short illness. She had been a resident of Sioux City the last 14 years. The last two months she made her home with a son, Herbert W. Bails 2019 Virginia, court reporter.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Methodist church at Onawa, Ia.
Burial will be in an Onawa cemetery. The body will remain in Perasso Brothers' funeral home here until time for services.
Mrs. Bails was born October 16, 1858, at Point Pleasant, W. Va. She was married there in 1879. She moved to Onawa with her husband in 1898. He died in 1909.
Surviving, besides her son, Herbert, is another son, Hollace of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Waugh of Kansas City, and Mrs. Sam Tillis of Onawa; three brothers, William and John Kelly of Onawa, and Earl Kelly of Sloan, Ia., and nine grandchildren.
