Graveside services for Mrs. T. A. (Marie) Harris of Kerrville, who died Sunday at her daughter's home in Houston after a lengthy illness, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Dr. Thomas Currie officiating.
The family will receive friends at Kerrville Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
Born in Dallas, Mrs. Harris was a longtime resident of Kerrville and a member f the First Presbyterian Church. She was active through the years as a volunteer worker in civic and charitable endeavors including the Kerrville State Hospital and the American Red Cross Gray Ladies. She was married to the late Thomas A. Harris, a former manager of the old Bluebonnet Hotel.
Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Wright of Houston; grandson, R. E. (Randy)Wright, and great-grandson, William Randolph Wright, both of St. Louis, Mo.; and nieces, Dorothy Fifer and Mrs. Leonard Madsen, both of Dallas.
Memorial may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 800 Jefferson Street, Kerrville, 78028.
