CHARLES FITZSIMMONS
Piffard — Charles FitzSimmons, 73, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 1945, in Warsaw Hospital. He was born in York and had been a resident of this community his entire lifetime, having been a successful farmer in this locality.
Surviving are three children Mrs. Ethel La Barbera of Buffalo, Mrs. Emma Conklin of Rochester and Raymond FitzSimmons of Piffard; four brothers, George, Wilbur and Roy of York, and John of LeRoy; three sisters, Mrs. George Dillan of York, Mrs. Charles Hettrick of Geneseo, Mrs. Roy Davis of York, fourteen grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter.
Funeral services were conducted from his late home at Piffard Saturday afternoon. Burial was in Mt. Morris Cemetery.
