"The fourth fatality from cerebro-spinal meningitis was Friday morning when the son of Peter Graves and his wife, who live four miles southwest of Savannah, died at 7:30. He had been sick for three weeks and his suffering was intense. During the last few days of his illness he realized that he could not recover and he said a prayer and among his requests was for a funeral service with a minister. Saturday afternoon at the cemetery, Dr. T. C. Taylor had charge of the service. Otto was 19 years and 8 months of age and was born and raised in the south part of the county."
