"Myra Fromme - Myra Fromme, 95 of Eugene, Oregon, died Saturday, February 13, 1999.

"Born October 24, 1903, in St. Patrick, she was a daughter of Robert and Amahlia Stone. She married Moritz Fromme in Greensburg, Kansas, June 13, 1921. He died March 22, 1967.

"Mrs. Fromme attended public schools in Bucklin, Kans., before moving to Eugene in 1985. She lived in Kansas City, Canton, and Mullinville, Kans. While in Canton and Mullinville, she and her husband owned and operated grain and cattle farms. She was a housemother at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Her interests included gardening, traveling and running. At age 94, she set world records in the 100 and 200 meter dashes in her age group at the Nike World Masters Games. She was preparing for future competition with her trainer in her 95th year.

"Survivors include a daughter, . . .; a son, . . .; a sister, Roberta Lutes of Kansas City; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

"She was also preceded in death by a son, Paul.

"A memorial service was held Sat., Feb. 20, in Eugene. Interment will be in Keokuk, Iowa in mid-April."
