Earnie Glen Powell died at his home west of town, Oct 18, 1902, aged 10 years, 10 months and 9 days. Earnie was the 3rd son of Mr and Mrs Zeno Powell and was born at Haiger, Nebraska, Dec 9, 1891. About 6 weeks ago he was taken with pneumonia from which he apparently recovered and was able to get around some, when coagulation of the blood set in which was the cause of his death. The funeral was held Monday morning in the ME Church, Rev Wyrick conducting the services. Burial was at Mt Clark Cemetery.
