Glenn passed away Saturday, December 14, at Spencer Hospital.

Glenn Eldon Neve, the son of George and Christine (Hansen) Neve, was born June 12, 1923 in Ringsted, IA. His childhood years were spent in Ringsted, where he received his education, graduating from Ringsted High School. He attended Ohio University and Dana College where he received his BA degree. He also did graduate work at the University of Minnesota. His college studies were interrupted by serving with the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. Two years of his army service were spent in the European Theatre of Operations where he served as personnel Sergeant during World War II.

Glenn married Helen Tange on June 13, 1949, in Hutchinson, MN. Following their marriage, he spent one year teaching business, courses at Blair, NE High School. They moved t, and o Spencer where he taught high school math at Spencer High School for 16 years. In 1966, he became the first administrator at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer and inaugurated two building programs. He worked there for 20 years until his retirement in 1986. After retirement, he continued part-time work as an interim administrator of a nursing home in Hills, MN, taught briefly at Iowa Lakes Community College, and was employed part-time at Del's Garden Center. Glenn was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer where he sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and Confirmation classes, and was a member of the church council. He was an active member of the Iowa and also the American Association of Homes for the Aged, Rotary, Golden K Kiwanis and was on the Board of Directors of St. Luke Lutheran Home. Glenn was also a member of the Spencer Golf and Country Club for many years and the American Legion in Spencer.
