LOGAN -- Nellie Mae McQuaid, 75, of Logan, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Logan Health Care Center.

Born Jan. 31, 1927, in Logan, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Franklin and Florence Evelyn Starr Pierson. She was a member of Moose Lodge 873 and the auxiliaries of VFW Post 6430, Fraternal Order of Eagles 2768 and AMVETS 1776.

She is survived by a son, Paul Ray Campbell of Logan; two daughters, Pamela (Ralph) Chaffin of Logan, and Evelyn Faye (Bob) Lafferty of Newark; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Edward Campbell; her second husband, Eldon McQuaid; and an infant son, Eddie Lee Campbell.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, with the Rev. Harold Kellenbarger officiating.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home in Logan.
