Ms. Tura E. Beshears, of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Monday, December 23, 2013, at mercy Hospice in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Ms. Beshears was 96 years and 16 days old. She was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Lina Mae Wood. Ms. Beshears was fraised in Berryville, Arkansas, alongside her 5 siblings. On the 20th day of February, 1937, she married her beloved Elmer Robert Beshears, in Berryville. The couple enjoyed 73 years of wedded life together.
Ms. Beshears was a homemaker.

Ms. Beshears was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband: Elmer Behsears; 1 son: Bill Beshears; 3 brothers: Kenneth Woods, Dean Wood, and Max Wood; and 2 sisters: Mae (Wood) Billington, and Evelyn (Wood) Ginn.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Shirley (Wood) Hanry and her husband: Lenoir of Greenwood, Arkansas, 3 sons: Jim Beshears and his wife: Martha, also of Greenwood, Arkansas, roger Beshears and his wife: Lavetta, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Don Beshears and his wife: Edna, amd 1 daughter-in-law: Faye Beshears of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many dear friends.

Funeral service was held on Friday morning, December 27, 2013, at Greenwood Church of christ. Dennis Gage, officiated the service and congregational singing was led by Scott Gage.
Pallbearers were her grandsons: Billy, Chris, Ronald, Allen, Keith, Ewan, Rick and Larin Beshears, Tommy Thompson, and Bryan Hanry. Honorary pallbearers were Dale McKinney, James Bailey, Darrin Stephens, Jim Woodruff, Patrick Neas, Jay Garner, Matt Edwards, and Ryan LaFleur.
