OBITUARY :
ARCH MERLE FOX, 72, formerly of Wayne Heights, died last night at 11:35 at his home, New Franklin. He had been in failing health for 10 years and has been bed fast for the last two months.

He was born at Rouzerville the son of the late John and Laura (Huff) Fox. Mr. Fox had been a resident of this area all his life until August of 1961 when he moved to New Franklin.

Mr. Fox, a truck driver in the line department had been employed by South Penn Power Company for 40 years having retired in March 1954.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church, Rouzerville. Also a member of the Century Club of South Penn Power Company.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jessie (Keefer) Fox; these daughters, Mrs. John Trostle, Pen Mar; Mrs. Charles Gardner, Chambersburg; step-daughter, Miss Betty Marie, Baltimore; brothers, John Fox, Bethlehem; Harry Fox, Winchester, Va.; Grant Fox, Demoyne; Stover Fox, East Stroudsburg; also four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Poe Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. William C. Sowers. Interment will be made in Harbaugh's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 until 9 p.m.
