Laura was the daughter of Jonathan Pickett (Daunt) and Mary Elizabeth (Bettie) Melton.
Her husband's name was Garland Holt. They were married 13 February 1916.
Laura was a school teacher and was teaching in the Butlers Landing community at the time of her death.
Laura died of Tuberculosis.
Laura and her parents are buried at each others side.
