Leona Garrison Mars Hill 80. Beloved mom and gram, died 8-10-1998, at a Presque Isle health care facility after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. She was born 5-13-1918 in Caswell, the daughter of James and Phronia (Condon) Brooker. She was a past member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Westfield and was a member of the United Baptist Church of Mars Hill. She had been employed in the Westfield Elementary School Cafeteria for many years and later the Dietary Department at TAMC. She was predeceased by her first husband, Murle Bean of 35 years and her second husband Stanley Garrison. She was predeceased by a infant son, Murle Bean and 3 brothers, Zenneth, Kenneth and Edward Brooker. She is survived by a son, Maynard Bean and his wife Judy of Watchit Lake, 3 daughters, Marilyn Lovely and her husband Frank, of Westfield, Paula CArson and her husband Glenn of Presque Isle and Janet Allen of Orlando, FL., 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter, a sister, Mabel Lunney of Westfield. Burial Marshall cemetery.
