James F Steinbach of Aurora a retired paint-manufacturing worker, died Aug 19. He was 73. Services were Tuesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery. There was cremation.

He was born 13 Nov 1925 in Sterling. On July 23, 1947 he married Margaret E Heyden in Denver. Steinbach served in the Marines during WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Joseph, Thornton; and David, Lakewood; a daughter Phyllis Claasen, Aurora; two brothers, Mike, Englewood, and Valentine, South Dakota; three sisters, Pauline Montgomery, Texas and Catherine and Anna Mary Riedel, both of Englewood; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
