She is preceded in death by her parents, Obie and Helen Blackman; her brother, Carl Dean Blackman; her sister, Judy Edmonds; and her son and daughter-in-law, John and Clair Brennan.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Hal Parsons, Sr.; daughter, Debbie Brennan; three sons, Eddie Brennan, Mike Brennan, and Dave (Catalina "Cathy") Brennan ; step-son, Hal Parsons, Jr.; two step-daughters, Debbie (Joe) Oreskivich and Carrie (Lonnie) Keller; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Diane) Blackman; sister, Pat (Tony) Wingate; sister-in-law, Mary Blackman; brother-in-law, Bill Edmonds; several nieces and nephews; and very special extended family members, Cathy Brennan and Jordy Guidry.
Visitation will be at Faith Chapel Funeral Home on Beverly Pkwy in Pensacola, FL on Sunday, December 22, 2013. Family visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and public visitors will be welcome from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home on Beverly Pkwy in Pensacola, FL with the Rev. Shane Fickling of Creighton Road Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery (Naval Air Station, Pensacola).
