Henry Clinton Allen died of heart disease August 18 at the home of J. G. Tobey. He was 73 years old. Mr. Allen had been a resident of this place many years, coming here from Pennsylvania when a small boy, with his parents. The funeral was held on Friday, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery at Caroline.
