--CAROLINE--
Died, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Hulslander, in Dryden, August 14, 1903, Carlton E. Allen. He was born Sept. 6th, 1846, in the town of New Albany, Bradford county, Penn. He moved with his parents to a farm near Caroline, Feb. 13th, 1849, and had resided here till Dec. 6th, 1901, when he moved to Dryden. He was a carpenter by trade and had a large circle of friends in this vicinity. He leaves one brother Clinton Allen, one daughter Mrs. Sarah Hulslander, and one son Dean Allen, of Dryden. His funeral was held at the home in Dryden on Sunday and the remains were brought to the cemetery here for burial.
