Kate married George B. Ewert on January 27, 1904. From 1904 to 1907, they made their home in Buhler, Kansas, before moving to Hooker, OK. While living in Hooker, George was a farmer.
George and Kate had 7 children: Irene Louise, Hilda, Erma Lee, Helen, Warren Gerhard and Penelope. One daughter died in infancy, name and age unknown.
Following George's sudden death in 1932, Kate and her 6 children relocated to Los Angeles county where she remained until her death in 1952.
