"Two Killed In Oklahoma Auto Crash

Wyandotte, Okla. - A Fairland and a rural Neosho, Mo., boy were killed in a one-car accident on highway 60, tow miles east of Wyandotte, late Monday night.

The victims were identified as Melvin Blevins, 25, Fairland, driver of the car, and a passenger, Roy D. Cavener, 16, Neosho route.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The accident occurred when Blevins apparently lost control of the car while it was traveling at a high rate of speed, and the car ran off the road and crashed into a tree stump, according to the highway patrol.

Born January 26, 1949, in California, Roy Cavener had lived with his mother, Mrs. Lena Cavener, on Neosho route 2 for several years. Surviving, in addition to his mother, Mrs. Lena Cavener, on Neosho route 2 for several years.

Services will be at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Biddlecome funeral chapel. The Rev. Johnny Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Burkhart cemetery at Racine, Mo.

Mr. Blevins was born June 18, 1940, on Seneca route and had lived in Fairland, Okla., for the last three months. He was employed by Fugate Auto Repair in Seneca.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is a brother, Allen Sloan, Springfield, MO.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vicky Blevins; a son, Randy Blevins of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert C. Blevins, Neosho route 2, and a twin brother, Marvin Blevenis, Tablequah, Okla.

Services will be announced by Biddlecome Funeral home."

Fairland, Okla. - Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the First Christian church at Fairland, Okla., for Melvin Blevins, 25, of Fairland, who was pronounced dead at the scene of a one-car accident late Monday night.

Officiating at the services will be the Rev. Bill Mieir. Burial will be in the Wyandotte, Okla., Indian cemetery under direction of Biddlecome Funeral home of Seneca."
