Mrs. Kays, 85, of Phenix City, AL, died Sunday, afternoon, January 9, 2005.
Born in Wichita Falls, TX, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Lawrence Brown and the late Ruth Marie Kerns Brown Nunley. Mrs. Kays had been a resident of Aiken, SC from 1951 where she retired from E.I DuPont as a Lab Technician until relocating to Phenix City, AL in 1999. She was a member of the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church.
She is survived by sons, Larry Dean Kays, (Phyllis) Asheboro, NC and Joe Hamilton Kays, (Susan) Aiken, SC; daughter, Terry Stutts, (James) Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Adam, Christopher, and Larry Dean Kays, Robert and Jason Stutts, and great-grandchildren, Blake Kays and Larin Stutts.
