Mrs. R. T. Hayes
Mrs. Carrie Lee Hayes, aged 62 years, died Saturday morning at 3:30, at her home 1214 Boulevard. She had lived here for about six years. Her former home was in Memphis, Tenn. Surviving her are her husband, Robert T. Hayes; a son, J. G. Hayes; a daughter, Caroline Hayes; and a nephew, Tom Lea, of El Paso. She was a sister of Capt. J. C. Lea, one of the pioneers of Roswell, N. M. The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon from the chapel at 708 North Stanton street. The interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
