Stella A. Styer, 94, of Ridge Road, Danville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland, where she had been residing since February.
Born Jan. 10, 1919, in White Hall, Montour County, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Katie S. (Menges) Moser. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cluster Bergenstock. She later married Leonard C. Styer in 1998, and they celebrated seven years of marriage until his death in 2005.
Stella was a homemaker all her life and a life member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Turbotville.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law: Wayne and Denise Bergenstock of Williamsport; and Robert L. Sr. and Phyllis Bergenstock of Danville; two daughters and a son-in-law: Joyce and James Llewellyn and Carol D. Reedy, all of Danville; 25 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Miles Allabach, residing at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
Preceding her in death, besides her husbands, were a son, Fred Bergenstock Sr.; a daughter, Faye Llewellyn; three brothers: Cyril L., Jerome F., and Stuart F. Moser; and two sisters: Sevilla M. Golder and Catharine E. Allabach.
Friends are invited to call 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Paradise St., Turbotville, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Erwin C. Roux, her pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
The family suggests contributions in her memory be made to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 277, Turbotville, PA 17772.
