Mrs. Malkowski Dies in Crash

Mrs. Victor E. Malkowski, 51, of 1511 Hickory, was killed Saturday morning four miles south of Corsicana on Highway 75 when the car in which she and five others were riding turned over and landed in a deep ditch.

Jefferson D. Dixon, 2741 Fordham, driver of the car, was most seriously injured. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Jacobs, Victor B. Malkowski, 12, and Ruth Juanity Malkowski, 7, were hospitalized.

Investigators said the driver apparently lost control of the car as it proceeded down a long hill.

Arrangements for Mrs. Malkowski's funeral were pending with Poole Funeral Home, 437 West Jefferson.

She is survived by her husband, Victor E. Malkowski; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Vineyard, Irving, and Ruth Juanita Malkowski, Dallas; four sons, Victor Malkowski and Alexander Jacobs, Dallas; Nelson Rose, Corpus Christi; Gordon Rose, Austin, and her mother, Mrs. J. R. Gray, Dallas.
